➤ We arrive at our first stop of the tour "Cristo Rei View Point" that is located at Garajau in caniço. This observatory offers a panoramic perspective over the natural heritage of Garajau, part of Funchal bay, and also Caniço de Baixo, an important tourist centre. In addition, visitors have access to a privileged view over the Atlantic Ocean. The Cristo Rei Viewpoint owes its name to the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus built on this spot.

3 Ilhéus of Santa Cruz (11:15)

From fresh fruits and vegetables to handmade souvenirs, there’s something for everyone at this bustling market.
